FRASERVILLE, ON - Five Star Race Car Bodies of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, is back on board at Kawartha Speedway for the 2006 season. Five Star will continue its ongoing effort to unify the body rules at North American short tracks by offering technical support and contingencies to the competitors who rely on their products week in and week out.
For the 2006 season the Five Star contingency program will mirror the one offered in 2005. Any competitor who competes at Kawartha Speedway on a regular basis (80% or better) in both the Limited Late Model and Late Model divisions will be eligible. At the year end banquet the names of the racers who meet the criteria will go into a random draw. The Limited Late Model winner will receive a 20% discount off of a complete body package and the Late Model winner will receive a 50% discount off of a complete body package.The Five Star award winners from 2005 included Limited driver Spencer MacPherson and Late Model driver Dan Kimmerly. Both drivers were very appreciative of the awards and said the contingency was a huge relief when it came to off-season re-building.
