Remixing is the art of taking what you already have, using it in a new way and adding a few new finishing touches. With that in mind, I've decided to REMIX my Wallpaper in Bits and Pieces post that I did in September of 2009, using the original post but mixing it up a bit and adding some new inspiration. So here you go!

If you love wallpaper, but just can't commit to wallpapering a room, here are some ways for you to incorporate your favorite wallpapers into your decor.

ON YOUR DESK:
(It seems like I've seen this somewhere, but I can't remember where, so if you've posted about it let me know!) Wallpaper the top of your desk with your favorite wallpaper and then have a piece of glass cut to protect it.

Create art by wallpapering a section of wall and framing it out (you could also just use foamcore or something similar if you didn't want to actually put the wallpaper on the wall). Finish it off by hanging empty frames on it. harlequin

Or paint the fireplace, then wallpaper the rest of the wall in a high contrast 
paper like they did here.
