BMW M3 E92 with Racing Dynamics Mods Dressed in Flat Black

Our first impression upon looking at these pictures of the BMW M3 coupe dressed in a Racing Dynamics bodykit and finished in a flat black was 'nice'. But that was before we checked out the same car with its factory Jerez Black metallic paintjob (see pics after the jump). Our personal take is that it looked better before but needless to say, when it comes to aesthetics, everyone has their own preferences.

The modded M3 E92 was featured on the M3Post forums by its owner that goes by the alias 'Labelexec'. We don't know many other details on the project car other than it was created by FBLSport in cooperation with RDSport aka, Racing Dynamics.

VIDEO: Russian BMW M3 Coupe-Convertible Chromed from Top to Bottom

Chrome-painting was never our cup of tea but when it comes to style /fashion /design etc, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This particular creation is the work of a Russian tuning firm called Dereiter Racing - and yes, we did notice the American flag waving outside the shop. Regardless of your taste buds, the mirror-like chrome paint finish on the M3 Coupe-Convertible seems well executed. Check out the car for yourselves in the video after the jump.

New Photo Gallery of BMW M3 Coupe 'Darth Maul' by MWDesign

Canadian tuner MWDesign has released a few more photos of its BMW M3 Coupe Darth Maul, but as much as we like the dark-theme project car, we must admit that in our book, Chantel Elloway scored more points in the "styling department" than the bimmer. BMW Reveals UK Pricing for M3 Coupe Special Edition

This summer, BMW will launch a limited-run, special edition version of our favorite 'M' car, the M3 Coupe that will be available in most markets in four different color combinations. For some reason, the non-metallic Black finish will not be offered in the UK where buyers will have to do with three color options including Alpine White, BMW Individual Dakar Yellow and BMW Individual Monte Carlo Blue. On-the-road pricing for the M3 Coupe Edition models in Britain has been set at £53,435 (about $87,934 or €61,800 at today's exchange rates), or a £2,500 premium over than the standard M3 Coupe.

Aside from the special exterior colors and upgraded interior trim and upholstery, the M3 Coupe Edition models also feature a dark chrome shadow-colored kidney grille, side vents, bonnet vents and twin exhaust tailpipe along. The 10mm lower ride height and the new 19-inch double-spoke light-alloy wheels in silver as standard and with black gloss finish as an option, round off the changes.

G-POWER's BMW M3 Coupe Tornado with 500HP Supercharged V8

Even the most recent BMW M3 with its 420HP V8 engine can't escape from the tuning claws of G-Power. However, if you've been following the latest news from the German tuning firm, you will probably be surprised with the somewhat modest upgrades that G-Power has incorporated into the M3 Coupe Tornado. The most significant change concerns the addition of tailor-made 'light' supercharger from ASA with a moderate 0,3 bar boost. Along with a new intercooler and a performance exhaust system, the 4.0-liter V8's output increases from 420HP and 400Nm to 500HP and 480Nm (354-lbs/ft).

G-Power says that the supercharged M3 Coupe with the 6-speed manual gearbox can accelerate from standstill to 200km/h (124mph) in just 13.5 seconds compared to the standard M3's time of 15.8 seconds. Customers can opt for the removal of the electronic speed limiter, in which case the M3 Coupe Tornado can reach a top speed in excess of 320km/h or +199mph..

The M3 Coupe Tornado also comes with a height-adjustable coil-over suspension with nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound while the car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport tires -255/30 ZR20 in front, 295/25 ZR20 in the rear- mounted on lightweight 20-inch Silverstone alloy wheels. The kit is complemented by a new four-pipe muffler made from stainless steel or optionally, from titanium which is 14,5kg or 32-lbs lighter than the factory part.

Unlike other G-Power models like the M6 Hurricane CS and the X5 Typhoon, the M3 Coupe Tornado does not feature any exterior upgrades other than the rims. The German firm does however update the interior with carbon-fiber trim, a new speedometer with the G-Power logo, an aluminum pedal set and optionally, a special leather treatment.

BMW Announces Special Edition M3 Coupe Models, Sales Start this Summer

In keeping with the special edition theme that seems to pervade the German car industry these days, BMW has announced that it will be releasing a quartet of M3 Coupes dubbed 'M3 Edition Models.' Available in four body colors with matching interior designs and a special features that include new light-alloy wheels and an even lower chassis, the M3 Edition Models will go on sale worldwide this summer with production limited to just six months. Depending on the respective Edition model, the body comes either in Alpine White Non-Metallic, Black Non-Metallic, Dakar Yellow Non-Metallic or Monte Carlo Blue Metallic.

Unique exterior features include the black finish on the openings on the engine compartment lid and the exterior mirror caps while the BMW kidney grille, the side gills and the dual tailpipes on the exhaust system come in dark eloxy-plated chrome.

The M3 Edition Models rides on 19-inch forged M light-alloy rims in double-spoke design that are available either in black or in the classic rim color. Furthermore, on the Alpine White, Black and Monte Carlo Blue models, BMW offers the same rims in a special white contrasting color with polished spokes.

BMW has also upped the M3 Coupe's interior. All models come with black leather seats feature contrasting seams (white on the Alpine White and Black models, yellow on the Dakar Yellow and blue on the Monte Carlo Blue) as well as vertical trim stripes on the upper section of the backrest and at the front of the legrest.

Same goes for the leather/ plastic trim on the center armrest, the center console and the armrests on the door panels. The entry trim bars in Checkered Flag Design bearing the "M3" model designation round up the interior upgrades.

The special edition M3 Coupe models also come with a sportier suspension set up that lowers the entire body by 10 millimeters or 0.4-inches. Other than that, there are no other mechanical changes with the M3 Edition Models holding on to the 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 420HP with power being transferred to the rear wheels either through the standard six-speed manual gearbox or via the optional M double-clutch seven-speed gearbox. As a reminder, the manual version goes from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.8 seconds while the twin-clutch gearbox model in 4.6 seconds.
